So, might we conclude that the distance is a function of two factors?

1. The location of the clitoral head in relation to the urinary meatus.

And/or

2. the size/length of the clitoris.

Or is it primarily the former?

I think the study focused on the former, but I bet the latter comes into play.

I would assume larger also means closer.

Just to make things more interesting, at least one study I saw on this also mentioned some corollary to the penis size, particularly girth, of the partner, as also being a factor. More girth means more stretching and stimulation of the clitoral "arms" and more stretching also causes the clitoral head to move downwards during sex to contact the penis shaft, which creates more stimulation.

Now THIS seems to make the most sense!

As GeorgeB said, this study did focus on #1, but I've wondered for a long time about #2. Are people aware of any studies/data on this? I've wondered for a while if women with larger clitorises ended up being more sexual and could O more easily. While I know that's a bit like asking if men with larger penises are more sexual, I think it's a bit different because men can easily find good ways to get stimulation, pretty much regardless of size, and that might not be true for women. Overall, just wondering if the ease of getting sexual pleasure was more for said women, and thus they might end up being more sexual over time?

Scott, I’ve wondered about the factor or clitoral size, too. I think I have seen a study on this one somewhere, but not sure. I know that anecdotally, this holds to be true, though.

I found a link to a study discussing this topic. Size is supposed to be mentioned. I don't have time right now to read all 94 pages, but I'll post it here and come back to it.

I'm also chuckling at the idea of everyone measuring! I didn't, too much work for me. It all works for me, and I'm happy. 'Tis interesting though, all the research thats been done on the whole subject.

Scott+Zelda,

As the owner of a large clitoris, I can tell you it hasn't helped me reach an O yet.
