Not again....

Postby Luv2LuvHer » Mon Feb 06, 2012 6:57 pm

DW had a hysterectomy a year ago and they repaired it with vaginal mesh. Recently, things have been feeling different in there so she checked it out with a mirror and yes there appears to be a bulge again so she has an appointment with her gyno this week. For both of our sakes I hope this doesn't mean another surgery.

DW had her appt. with her OB/GYN this week and her gave her good news. What we thought was a re-occurance is just a flap of skin in the vagina and is not another prolapse. He told her that he could fix it but it would make the opening smaller and it would impact our lovemaking substantially. Her eyes got huge and she said, NO!!! She was concerned about a prolapse and as long as it wasn't going to be a problem we are good with it.

Thanks for the prayers!
