I hesitate to give this tip, but here goes. Testosterone is a steroid, which is now classified as a "schedule 1" drug. Before 1990 you could freely get steroids. However, because of a few stories in the news about weight lifter abuse, it was added the schedule 1 drug list by the DEA, right along with cocaine or LSD. That means it is seen as among the most damaging drugs available. Buying or possessing without a prescription is a felony. Crazy stuff considering it is much cheaper and more readily available in many other countries (not illegal).

That said, it is dangerous and highly illegal to purchase testosterone from other countries. But...not so much for HCG. HCG can be easily & cheaply sourced outside this country, and not a felony risk.

Testosterone (injectable and transdermal creams and gels) are schedule 3.

Pretty sure the site also has a 10ml vial. I purchased the 200mg/ml which is double strength to last even longer.

Ill have to check on that.. but i knew when i figured it that if i bought the one ml with the coupon, dh would need ten of them andi t would cost us $160.
Dh takes .5 ml of the 200 mg every 3.5 days.

okay... if this coupon will work this will be fantastic! Dh is going to ask his dr to write his scrip so we can get three vials at a time if the 10ml ..
if we can get it at this price it will be awesome! and my research really found no difference in brand and generic

The NP told my husband today that their policy (the clinic's? the health network? I'm not sure) is that testosterone is a controlled substance and that injections have to be done at the office once a month. My husband had looked into it enough that he knew that once a week at home was more typical, so he questioned her about it. She said she would ask. My husband is a 51-year-old man with a clear medical need documented over several years, so it isn't like he's a young guy trying to find a way to get steroids for nefarious purposes. (Yeah, clearly I'm annoyed.)

Do whatever you can to convince them to let you do his injections weekly, at home. Ask them to train you. Once a month is nonsense. He'll be a mess...hormonal roller coaster anyone?

That's a ridiculous reason. All drugs are controlled substances, and diabetics do self-injections every day. I suspect that they want that payment from you for each injection.

Regarding the drug schedules:

Schedule 1 drugs are illegal to dispense in the U.S, and include heroin, LSD, Ecstasy, etc…

Schedule 2 drugs have a high potential for abuse, but have legitimate uses, such narcotic pain killers such as oxycodone and codeine. It also includes drugs like Adderall and Ritalin.

Schedule 3 drugs have abuse and/or dependence potential, but less so that Scheduler 1 or 2. These include Vicodin, testosterone, etc…, and cough syrups with hydrocodone

That's what we thought--although the cost of one office visit a month would be less than what we've been paying for a month of Testim. Our clinic has recently joined a large health care system, and I know that sometimes the long-time staff are still learning their new rules. I hope that she was erring on the side of caution and that this will work.

Yep, that is a real thing. My dr office has the same policy. I feel good for about two weeks then begin my decline and my next shot every month. It does help my thinking and mental concentration. Now cost me $78.00 per month copay. Ouch.

Then fire your doctor and hire a new one.

Well.. I am now a big FAN of the good RX app!!!!

We bought 3 vials of 10 ml.. 200mg/ml Testosterone cyp. for $121 !!!

This will last dh for about 7 months since he uses 100 mg twice a week.

This makes the cost only $4 a week...$2 a dose!

Great deal! It is so much cheaper that I have no idea how they sell the expensive options.
