That's what I'm not sure about. Did the study actually find that, or did it even find much of anything definitively significant between sex frequency and happiness? I disagree with the extrapolation in the headline, as do most people here, in part because I don't think that is what the study actually found.
Correlation does not equal causation.
Also, the idea of being "told to have more sex" for a study seems to violate the spirit of Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, though I didn't see that mentioned in the norc study.
