Hello

Postby Madeline2017 » Sat Sep 30, 2017 11:48 am

Hi I'm Maddie

I'm an anxious overweight (working on it!)Christian woman engaged to a great guy. We are going to tie the knot on New Years' Eve.

I had never even dated before meeting him and I'm as nervous as I am excited.

I hope someone can help me.

Glad you are here! You could start a thread to talk about more of what you would like help with. If he's marrying you, he loves you as you are.... don't be anxious but choose to believe what he says.
God can change what people do, behavioral patterns that have been in play for decades. He can change what we do to cope, find comfort, survive conflict, to count. Rahab had done a same old thing for years...then she did something new.

Welcome Maddie. Getting married on New Year's Eve sounds awesome. What a perfect way to start a new year!

I also hadn't dated anyone before I met my DW so I know how you feel.

Hope this site helps you learn about how to please both your future husband and yourself in y'all's marriage bed.

Another welcome aboard, Maddie.

As suggested, tell us more when you have time. You will have a busy time until your wedding day. You may also pickup Kevin Leman's "Sheet Music" and read it with your beloved. Keep a bible between you and read it also. ON NEW YEAR's DAY, you might read the "SONG of SONGS." Perhaps share SoS with Mom & Dad.

May God bless and protect both of you, and keep you chaste and pure.
He is risen!
