Goodbye Rules

Postby Lori B » Thu Oct 04, 2007 11:21 am

The Goodbye section is for saying goodbye when you are leaving the boards.

Online communities, like real life, have an ebb and flow. Sometimes we're called to remain in a particular place for a long time and sometimes we're called to leave. We understand that not everyone is called to remain a part of TMB for the long term and we know that sometimes people want to say good-bye to the friends they've made here. If this describes you, feel free to post a good-bye post here so folks can bid you off.

* If you say you are leaving, please say your good-byes and leave (you may continue to post to the goodbye thread in response to others, but please do not post to the general board).

* If someone says they are leaving, don't ask them to stay.

* A leaving post is not an excuse to blast anyone.

* Don't post that you are thinking about leaving, post when you have made the choice to leave.

* If you choose to leave due to anger, understand that we cannot allow an angry goodbye post to remain and harm the community. Angry goodbyes may be removed, may be returned for poster to edit and repost and/or accounts may be deactivated, at the moderator's discretion.

* Goodbye threads are auto pruned after 30 days of no activity (at which time the membership account of those permanently leaving will be deactivated).
