What about speel checking?

Postby Paul B » Sun Mar 14, 2004 4:27 pm

The system we are using does not have a spell checker - HOWEVER there is a free add on for IE browsers that checks anything in a form box, and it will check your post prior to sending it. On IE it installs as a button on your tool bar and in your tools menu. The program also works as a right click option in SlimBrowser, CrazyBrowser, MSN, MyIE and a few others.

Here's a spell check for Mozilla Firefox.

Hopefully this will save me a ton of time from copying and pasting into outlook, then copying and pasting back into these form boxes.

After downloading it you have to install the tool bar. You should then have an icon <abc Check>. Put your cursor in the form that you want to check then click on the Spell Check icon.

For a demonstration or more information see: http://toolbar.google.com//T3/tour/toolbar5.html

There is now "Grammarly". It is free for most terms, but there is also a paid form which allows a more personal vocabulary. It works with most programs.
